Mermaids in March

Mermaids in March give local businesses a chance to participate in the Festival for an entire month! Each business is encouraged to display a handcrafted mermaid (of their choice) at their business. The concept was launched in 2014 with three mermaids and last year we had over 48 businesses participated in the month long event! These exciting displays are a must see so plan another trip to Cayucos anytime in March! Be sure to check them out!

Lodging & Tourism

Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and next door to Hearst Castle, Cayucos CA has numerous motels, inns, B&Bs and vacation rentals, as well as fantastic weather, beaches and wineries. Be sure to check out the Cayucos Chamber and Highway 1 Discovery Route websites for lodging possibilities and things to do in our area.
